A descriptive study survey questionnaire was used to collect data for this study which was sent to collegiate aviation faculty members throughout the U.S. from the August 1992 University Aviation Association (UAA) membership roster.;The trend for higher education has permeated into the collegiate aviation community. Currently, doctoral programs in aeronautical/aerospace science do not exist to meet the new challenges in this multi-faceted field. It is anticipated that a need to develop a doctoral program has arrived, however, there appears to be a great deal of controversy as to what a doctoral program should entail. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Doctoral, Aeronautical/aerospace science, Program | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
