Abstract/Summary:
A desk top computerized method has been developed for the fast and easy analysis of chemical process costs typically associated with the building of a new plant or the expansion of an existing plant. A sensitivity analysis can also be performed upon the chemical process costs. The ease of use of the program has been enhanced by a series of interactive menu driven choices with suggested default values when required information is not known. Also included are three programs giving a detailed sizing and costing of various types of wastewater treatment systems and air pollution control equipment. User manuals and programmer manuals have been included for all programs to assist the user in both the use and modification of the programs. The manuals also include an explanation of the economics and calculation techniques used in the programs. The associated cost data for individual equipment in only considered accurate to +/...
