Nitrogen doped graphene is an alteration of graphene via the insertion of nitrogen atoms into the lattice of the carbon atoms. The purpose of this study was to characterize the structural and electronic properties of nitrogen doped graphene in comparison to similar properties of undoped graphene and graphite powders. This was done by use of techniques such as X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. |
