Abstract/Summary:
This thesis presents an analytical method for optimizing continuous gas lift installations. The purpose of this optimization is to determine the amount of injection gas required by each well in order to maximize the production unit's profitability. Gas lift principles, inflow performance relationships and vertical lift performances are discussed. In addition, a procedure is given for those cases where either the availability of injection gas is limited or the capacity of the separator station is exceeded.
