Abstract/Summary:
This document explores the application of Compressive Sensing to the BI-SQUID antenna. We explore the possibility of using Compressive Sensing to reconstruct the individual voltage levels of the BI-SQUIDs within the arrays. Using the Gaussian distribution of the BI-SQUID antenna as a sensing matrix, the voltage levels of BI-SQUID elements excited by a signal can be recovered. Using the geometry of the antenna along with the BI-SQUID cell's position, a bearing can be computed toward the source of the signal. This paper covers the basic foundations of the BI-SQUID antenna, along with the foundation mathematics of Compressive Sensing, and the geometric construction of an antenna capable of direction finding via Compressive Sensing reconstruction.
