Abstract/Summary:
The goal of this project report is the creation of a dynamic homepage by linking the World Wide Web to the ORACLE RDBMS (Relational DataBase Management System). After conducting an extensive research on the various Common Gateway Interface (CGI) programs available in the public domain, the author chose the ORAPERL CGI program to build the linkage between the WWW and the RDBMS. For anyone who is interested in this field, they can follow the two sample programs provided in this project and construct their own data independent Web site.
