Through an examination of the process of learning, educational tenets that support innate caring, environmental stewardship, and empowerment of soul-inclinations, are defined. By identifying how foundational aspects of yogic and ayurvedic principles might be paired with educational methodology, inquiry ensues based on heuristic and grounded theory research done with professionals from the fields of yoga and education. Data is revealed that encourages the use of yogic practices and principles in designing a yogically-informed meta-theory for educational praxis as well as an indication for education that is inclined towards love and compassion. |
