| This thesis is to find the optimum block type for use in residential building within Saudi Arabia. Four individual block types chosen for testing are red clay block, concrete block, volcanic block, and Siporex block. Each of the block types chosen for testing is based on current availability within Saudi Arabia. The optimum block type was determined by testing for thermal resistance, structure, availability and cost. |
