This research attempts to answer the question of how prevalent Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs are in corporate America, and who is the most likely to use them. In a survey of companies in the Southeastern U.S., it was found that larger companies are most likely to experience conflict in the workplace, and are also more likely to have instituted a formal ADR program. Gender and/or race/ethnic diversity in an organization did not have any significant impact on the level of conflict in the organization. |
