Comportement des dalles de pont fortement sollicitees par les surcharges routieres (French text)

The most solicited part of the bridges is the deck slabs because of the heavy charges and corrosive agents. The slabs of flexible structural system bridges are deteriorated by road charges and reinforced bars corrosion problems as well as a result of frost and thaw cycles. On site observations indicate that the concrete slabs of certain long span bridges deteriorate prematurely by delamination of its upper part at the driving surface level. Thus, the purpose of this research project is to determine the conditions leading to the delamination of the concrete slabs and suggest a few practical solutions to solve this problem.; To achieve this purpose, the search project was divided in two parts. The first part was the finite elements analysis of two structures and the identification of the cause of the problem.
