Abstract/Summary:
In Chapter 2 the formation of ceramic/polymer composites and novel ceramic microstructures is discussed. Synthetic procedures were analogous to those of biomineralization. The surfactant 'Brij 78' ;In chapter 3 the chemical modification of an alternating olefin-carbon monoxide copolymer is discussed. The propylene-carbon monoxide copolymer was reduced by dihydrogen in presence of Raney-Ni to form the corresponding 1,4-polyalcohol. Hydrogenation of 60% of carbonyl groups was observed, whereas reaction with LiAlH;In chapter 4 polymerization of norbornene and synthesis of diblock poly((olefin)-(olefin-CO)) copolymers is discussed. Insertion of norbornene into the Pd-CH;Formation of styrene-CO copolymer was catalyzed by (1,10-phenanthrolinePd(CH...
