Strawberries are highly consumed in Puerto Rico, but they are not cultivated in the island. For that reason, two field experiments were established to evaluate it's potential culture in Puerto Rico. First, four varieties of strawberries were evaluated ('Oso Grande', 'Selva', 'Sweet Charlie', and 'Tristar') in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, two of them were selected, 'Sweet Charlie' and 'Tristar'. 'Sweet Charlie' produced bigger fruits in comparison with the other varieties. 'Tristar' produced more flowers than the other varieties.
