| The progress toward development of efficient ligands for palladium-catalyzed allylic substitution reactions is described. Using parallel library synthesis, phosphorous-containing peptides were prepared, complexed with palladium, and screened as catalysts. A wide range of activities and selectivities was obtained. Results from these libraries and detailed information concerning which components of the system are critical for high enantioselectivity are presented. |
