| In this thesis we study representation theory of Lie algebras in positive characteristic. We develop an algebraic formalism that produces reduced enveloping algebras. Restricting our attention to the case of a classical semisimple Lie algebra, we explicitly compute the reduced enveloping algebra at a regular functional. Finally, we introduce a geometric machinery producing representations. |
