Abstract/Summary:
The main problem considered in this thesis consists in determining a coefficient in a Quasilinear Elliptic Partial Differential Equation from partial knowledge of its solutions on the boundary of its domain. We present the approach we use to recover this coefficient and apply it to two particular cases. This inverse problem can be considered as a natural extention of the inverse conductivity problem where the conductivity of a body has to be determined by measurements on the boundary of the body.
