| This thesis attempts to understand and explain why art institutions are collaborating with various institutions more than ever before as a result of the current societal environment they find themselves in today. This being the lack of funding problem these nonprofit institutions constantly face and the increased emphasis on the importance of the visitor, and how this has led to an expanded idea of what collaboration can look like. |
