This research is concerned with the human action laws in three types of path control tasks: two-dimensional horizontal, two-dimensional vertical and three-dimensional. This research included two experiments. Experiment 1 tested human performance in 2D paths (both horizontal and vertical) and 3D paths with equal horizontal and vertical constraints. Experiment 2 tested human performance in 3D paths with unequal constraints. As a result, the human action law in 2D path control tasks is: V = thetaW ; by the extension of the general equation of 2D path control tasks obeying the additive rule, the human action law of 3D path control tasks is: V = 1/(b/WH + c/WV); there is a hypothesis which can be the best to predict the human performance in 3D path control tasks by using the data of human performance in 2D path control tasks. This hypothesis is: 1V3D =Aintercept+A 2DHV2DH+A2DV V2DVo r. 1NTLX.3D=Aint ercept+A2DHNTLX.H +A2DVNTLX.V . |
