| This paper offers an analysis of conspiracy theory in relation to the attacks of September 11, 2001. People from all walks of life have wondered if the official report provided by the U.S. government, The 9/11 Commission Report, has addressed the numerous questions surrounding the attacks and more importantly if it has been able to provide adequate and sensible answers. This essay reviews the theories and analyses provided by Hofstadter, Morgenthau and Tunander with regards to conspiracy theory in the history of the United States. Then, it discusses the views of Zinn and Chomsky on the subject of September 11, 2001 related to conspiracy theory, which have shown to be skeptical in regards to a possible participation of the Bush administration. Furthermore, this paper reviews the flaws and discrepancies of The 9/11 Commission Report followed by the potential role of Saudi Arabia.
