The purpose of this project was to develop a series of four workshops that focused on the presentation of an image that will convey professional credibility, power and effectiveness for women in business positions.;Utilizing the practical reasoning process and the extensive review of literature a series of workshops was designed to help professional women develop an image that could convey professional credibility, power and effectiveness in a unique way. The four workshops were divided into six topics: Importance of Image, Design and Line, Color, Seven Pieces Seven Ways, Space Invaders and Clothes Encounters. A focus group evaluated the workshop materials to determine their perceived effectiveness and to provide suggestions for improvement.;This project applied practical research findings in the area of impression management. The techniques and skills learned in these workshops can be generalized to all aspects of a wardrobe. |
