| The Sarbanes-Oxley act of 2002 was created to prevent fraudulent activities in publicly traded companies. Unfortunately section 404 of the act, pertaining to IT Departments, does not describe adequate controls requirements. This paper therefore defines a unique and automated approach for compliance remediations, focusing on the implementation of preventative and detective controls in a UNIX environment. |
