| The SplunkRTM platform provides software tools that enable users to organize, query, analyze, and visualize their machine data in order to gain useful insights into the state of their systems' operations. The Splunk client-side application provides various visualizations that convey search result metrics and their contextual implications to the user. Splunk currently offers a simplistic visualization called Single Value that allows users to display a single data value. However, the current Single Value lacks data density and is difficult to interpret and create. We will enhance Single Value so that it conveys information more effectively, and enable users to more easily build a meaningful visualization. This will increase the value of Single Value to Splunk customers. |
