Abstract/Summary:
This thesis details the development of an analytical data processing strategy to computationally identify novel mRNA transcripts and novel mRNA splice-forms. Included in this thesis will be the discussion of sequencing technologies, gene expression technologies, RNA-Seq data manipulation, the programs used to find exon-exon splice junctions in genes and downstream analysis tools and strategies.
