The Thought. The Force. The Love. The Joy. The Hope: An Ode to the Seldom Hear

This thesis examines the methods used in creating my original solo performance piece entitled The Thought. The Force. The Love. The Joy. The Hope: An Ode To The Seldom Heard. I will describe in detail what specifically inspired the spine of my work, the research performed, the writing process, and how I hope it will grow in the future. Included in the body of the thesis is the script as it was performed on December 2nd thru December 4th, 2015 at the Center for Performance Experiment on the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia, South Carolina.
