Narrative thesis project: The life and experiences of a Latina woman from a low-income immigrant family

The purpose of this personal narrative is to share the narrator's experiences of growing up in a low-income immigrant Latino family. The narrative will explain how the narrator was able to overcome substantial barriers in order to achieve success both personally and academically.;The narrator shares with the reader how the challenges that she experienced made her a stronger person, and a competent social worker. The narrator offers this thesis with the desire that it will inspire other people to overcome challenges and to make a special contribution to the social work profession.
