Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between accent and intelligibility in non-native English speakers (NNES), assess NNES' self perception of communicative abilities, and compare native speaker's ratings with self-perception data. An isolated group of 10 non-native English speakers (NNES) and 5 native English speakers participated in the study.
