| A numerical model is developed to determine the seismic performance of precast prestressed pile to cast in place pile cap connections. The model is verified against experimental testing. A parametric study is conducted investigating the effects of axial load, embedment length, additional steel, and different boundary conditions. The model is modified to represent an exterior specimen. The exterior specimen is tested to determine the effects of different embedment lengths. |
