Climate change has become a global major environmental issues of common concern to the international community today,the Chinese government actively carry out since the Paris agreement on climate change adaptation measures,the enterprise is one of the important constraints,and agricultural industry company is more sensitive to climate change,agriculture company,the phenomenon of the net assets rate is extremely low,generally it depends not only on the enterprise exists the characteristics of the industrial concentration is low,also because of the climate environment is highly dependent on embodies the consideration of the agriculture industry.On the one hand,in order to respond positively to the green concept of low-carbon and sustainable development of the country,on the other hand,it correctly recognizes that the industry is closely related to climate resources.Under the dual role of internal and external causes,it is the inevitable choice for enterprises to develop long-term strategies to cope with climate change in the future.This paper starts from the field of accounting,economics and meteorology,constructs mechanism analysis,and introduces how climate change affects the performance of listed agricultural companies through direct and indirect paths.First,based on the non-equilibrium panel data of 40 a-share listed agricultural companies from 1991 to 2017,this paper adopted A fixed effect model to empirically analyze the impact of average temperature,relative humidity,annual average precipitation and average sunshine duration on the performance of agricultural listed companies.The results show that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between average temperature and relative humidity and the performance of agricultural listed companies.There is no significant correlation between annual average precipitation and average sunshine duration and the performance of agricultural listed companies.Finally,through the case analysis of hainan rubber,this paper expounds how the financial performance of the company changes and the corresponding strategic deployment after the company has experienced the climatic disasters of frequent typhoons,drought and local continuous rainfall.The opportunities and challenges brought by climate change to enterprises help agricultural enterprises realize that they should introduce different operating methodsaccording to different climate impacts and actively cope with the deterioration of the climate environment.In China,the relationship between climate and performance has not been applied to the actual operation and management of enterprises.The combination of economics and meteorology and the construction of meteorological econometric model provide new ideas for the future research on meteorology and enterprise performance,promote the sustainable development of enterprises in the future environment,and enhance their competitiveness.
