Research On Evaluation System Of Suppliers Involve New Product Development

With the updating of industry and the coming intelligent customized production,manufactures must rely on the technology innovation and product improvement to maintain the growing trend.The life cycle of new product development is shorter,the construction becomes highly complicated.Relying on the solely R&D capacity by the manufactures,it cannot satisfy the fast variety of market demand.Early supplier involvement is an important action to integrate the value chain.From the perspective of supply side,early involving action in the new project development can increase the market share,reduce the competition pressure,but also improve the status in the value chain,and force the interest distribution in the value chain.Therefore,more and more industries begin to implement early involvement programs in the new development project.B Company is one of the largest chemical enterprise in the world.It is the leader of engineering plastics industry.For keeping the leading position in the market and combats the competitive pressure.B Company begins to start the early involvement project in the downstream customer.B Company moves forward the material lead stage from the mold design stage to the product conception stage,to remain the competitive with the other competitors.However,there are many negative problems when the program had been carried out,such as slow development progress,low development success rate and the benefit cannot be guaranteed.In order to solve this problem,this article starts with studying the early involvement theory of suppliers,and learns the background,operating rules,and risk factors of early involvement theory.Through the analysis and summary of actual cases,the factors that mainly affect the success of the project are sorted out.Based on this,we collect evaluation feedback through expert interviews,and use analytic hierarchy process to design a set of work processes instruction,so that front-line business colleagues can quickly make decisions to involvement in projects early or exit based on important influencing factors.Thereby increasing the development success rate of new projects.This article hopes to study the early supplier involvement project of company B,on the one hand,to enrich the theory studies,On the other hand,based on the perspective of supplier,it proves the importance of the early involvement of the supplier,summarizes the important influencing factors that affect the implementation of the early involvement,and provides some useful references for the management of the same projects in related industries.
