Impact Of Manufacturing Aggregation On The Level Of Scientific And Technological Innovation

With the deepening of competition and cooperation among enterprises,"industrial gathering" has been formed in some regions of our country.The impact of industrial agglomeration may have a positive effect on enterprise innovation in the gathering area,the Pearl River Delta region is the main town of China’s manufacturing industry,after many years of development has formed a certain level of aggregation,studying what kind of impact its manufacturing gathering is on the level of scientific and technological innovation is of practical significance for the promotion of the Pearl River Delta region and even the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Area" level of scientific and technological innovation.Through theoretical analysis and selection of panel data for the period 2008-2017 in nine cities of the Pearl River Delta,the paper aims to study the relationship between manufacturing aggregation and regional scientific and technological innovation level,and finally through the study that manufacturing gathering has a significant effect on the level of regional science and technology innovation,and this paper also divides manufacturing industry into labor-intensive,capital-intensive,technology-intensive analysis according to factor demand,and finds that the overall impact of labor-intensive manufacturing gathering on scientific and technological innovation is negative.The overall impact of technology-intensive manufacturing gathering on the level of scientific and technological innovation is positive,but in the further sub-sector research,this paper finds that some non-technology-intensive manufacturing industry also has a role in promoting the level of scientific and technological innovation,which,through the combination of cases and data,has a certain relationship with the development and foundation of manufacturing industry in different cities in the Pearl River Delta region.
