Continuous Interva-Valued Linguistic PROMETHEE Method And Its Application In Enterprise Performance Evaluation

Decision making has existed in people’s life,study and work since the beginning of human civilization.From national planning to people’s daily plans,there are marks of decision-making everywhere.With the continuous progress of human civilization and the vigorous development of society,politics,economy and culture,people are facing more and more complex decision-making environment,and the uncertainty of decision-making problem is also increasing.The single criteria decision-making and single decision-making in the past cannot meet the needs of social development well.Then,the application of multi-criteria decision-making(MCDM)and group decision-making is more and more extensive and help people effectively solve many decision-making problems.However,due to the differences of people’s knowledge structure,the angle of observation and the way of thinking,people naturally show hesitation and fuzziness in the process of thinking and making decisions,so that the way of using accurate numbers to express decision-making information can weaken the way of truly reflecting the intention and preference of decision-makers(DMs).Using linguistic terms to express the DMs’ preference information can better deal with this problem,and reflect the DMs’ opinions objectively and truly,and reflect the DMs’ hesitation and uncertainty in the decision-making process.Therefore,in recent years,the research of MCDM based on linguistic information has become one of the hot topics of many scholars,and has made a lot of research results,which greatly promoted the development of MCDM field.However,compared with the universality of decision-making problems,the existing research is still imperfect,which is worthy of further exploration.In view of this,in order to further enrich the research on MCDM with linguistic information,this paper takes continuous interval-valued linguistic term set(CIVLTS)as the research direction,and carries out the following research work:(1)This paper summarizes the existing researches on the CIVLTS,and find out the existing problems and deficiencies,so as to find a breakthrough for further research.(2)A new score function and deviation function of CIVLTS are proposed to better serve the comparison of CIVLTS.Based on the comparison of real interval numbers,the possibility formula of continuous interval-valued linguistic term set based onprobability is defined.In addition,the Hamming distance of CIVLTS is defined,which lays the foundation for the MCDM method.(3)The classical ranking method PROMETHEE,is extended to continuous interval-valued linguistic environment reasonably.The proposed method named as CIVL-PROMETHEE method is applied to MCDM problems with continuous interval-valued linguistic information as evaluation value.(4)Under the background of national planning and implementation of supply side structural reform strategy,this paper takes the performance evaluation of strategic emerging industry enterprises in Jiangxi Province as an example and constructs an index system suitable for evaluating the performance of strategic emerging industry enterprises,then applies the theoretical results of this paper to specific performance evaluation.Finally,the rationality and validity of the proposed CIVL-PROMETHEE method are verified by comparative analysis.
