Research On Government's Role In The Famers' S Income Growth Of Jingjiang City

In the long run,the growth of farmers' income is not only an important measure to the raising of new urbanization rate and the balance of urban and rural development in China,but also a key to improving the level of residents in our country life,expanding domestic demand,and ensuring the steady growth of our country's economic health.The policy of reform and opening-up since 40 years ago,lead to the big increase in farmers' income,and also the greatly improvement of people's living standards.However,comparing to the urban residents,farmers' income growth remains slow.The ways to increase farmer's income need to be further explored,and a long-term mechanism should be also established.The rural education,science and technology,culture,health and other social undertakings obviously lagged behind the city,the phenomenon of falling into or falling back to poverty because of catching disease still exists.This situation is not only related to the expansion of domestic demand and the development of rural economy and society,and is also related to achieving the goal of a well-off society in an all-round way.Ultimately,the issue of farmers' income growth is a major social and political problem of our country.This paper focuses on the government's role in the farmers 'income growth.At present,the problems of agriculture,rural areas and famers are attached great importance from central to local,and a social atmosphere of concerning three rural issues is coming into being.The "Central First Document",for several years,has been concerning the three rural issues.The CPC Committee and the State Council repeatedly emphasized that increasing farmers' income are always the government's top economic priority.This paper,taking Jingjiang City as an example,microscopically analyses the composition of farmers' income in the more developed cities in China,after the thorough research on the realities of the city's new rural construction.Therefore,this paper,casting Jingjiang as a case,finds problems and reasons that constrain farmers' income growth,summarizes some government policy tools that can be used in increasing farmers' income,and finally puts forward the way to sustained growth in the farmers' income in Jingjiang and countermeasures.This will be conducive to economic development,social stability and rural prosperity,which will have an important reference significance to other areas.
