| As an important part of the Yangtze River Delta and even the national economy,Jiangsu Province’s economic development model has a positive demonstration role for other regions.In 2015,after the service industry’s proportion in the economy surpassed the manufacturing industry for the first time,the research on the regional economic growth of the service industry has become more and more a trend,and the producer service industry is an important part of the service industry.As the upstream industry of the manufacturing industry,it plays an irreplaceable role in the growth of the national economy.In academia,the rise of new economic geography has led to the combination of spatial factors and traditional economic growth theories.Many scholars have studied the impact of agglomeration of productive services on regional economic growth from the perspective of industrial agglomeration.This paper attempts to study the role and mechanism of producer services for regional economic growth from the perspective of technology spillovers arising from the agglomeration and diversification of producer services and the relationship between producer service industry agglomeration and manufacturing.Specifically,in terms of direct effects,this paper empirically studies the impact of technology spillovers on economic growth by constructing a specialized agglomeration and diversification indicators for productive services,using spatial measurement methods;This paper uses the classical mediation effect test method to empirically study whether the agglomeration of productive service industry affects regional economic growth by affecting the improvement of labor productivity and manufacturing upgrading.The conclusion of the study is that the specialized agglomeration of producer services has a significant role in promoting regional economic growth,while the impact of specialized agglomeration on economic growth is not significant.In terms of mediating effect,the accumulation of productive services promotes the productivity of manufacturing.The promotion promoted economic growth,and the assumption that the producer service industry promoted economic growth through manufacturing upgrades did not pass the mediation effect test.Finally,based on the research conclusions,the paper gives corresponding policy recommendations. |
