Under the background of economic globalization,engineering consulting,as a knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive service business,has developed into a worldwide economic phenomenon.However,the traditional development model of engineering consulting has been unable to adapt to the high-speed economic pattern.It is of vital significance to find the correct market positioning,make precise efforts,build a comprehensive service platform for consulting institutions,conform to the "Internet +" model,optimize organizational structure,seize market opportunities,and change and innovate business model contents.Based on the above research background,this paper first clarifies the relevant theories of business model and production-oriented service.The theoretical study of business model includes four concepts of economy,operation,strategy and integration,relevant theories at home and abroad,and the classification and evaluation of business model.The theoretical study of production-oriented service starts from the connotation,definition,reasons for growth,circuitous theory and the relationship with economic growth of production-oriented service.Based on the analysis of the domestic engineering consulting industry,this paper puts forward the possibility of business model innovation in the engineering consulting industry from the dynamic research perspective of business model innovation and productive services,combined with the overall situation,overall scale,market environment,development opportunities and existing value chain activities of the global engineering consulting industry.This paper proposes four components of a service-oriented business model :(1)Customer-oriented value proposition innovation.The engineering consulting industry needs to conform to customer demand and provide a comprehensive solution product supply model to meet customer demand by integrating upstream and downstream production and service resources of the construction industry.Engineering consulting industry in this aspect of business innovation perspective should be more outgoing and open,more attention should be paid to the perspective of consumers on the enterprise behavior design plan.The starting point is to create added value for consumers in key areas.(2)Innovation of customer problem solutions in O2 O architecture.Through the O2 O platform,the Internet and offline stores will be connected together,so that consumers can enjoy online discounts and offline quality services at the same time,and the Internet and physical enterprises will be combined to better serve customers.(3)Innovation of profit model based on service innovation.To a certain extent,it is an important way of value chain optimization to improve the technological level,product research and development and application ability of enterprises.Engineering consulting enterprises need to explore more profit points,and combine many external factors such as social and economic background,industrial life cycle,market prospect to build their own unique profit model.(4)Win-win cooperation network innovation.The key to the servitization of engineering consulting industry is to reconstruct the value chain,sell the designed products and additional or value-added services in a bundle while meeting the needs of customers,and realize the profit creation of multiple links in the whole value chain.Engineering consulting enterprises need to strengthen the connection with upstream and downstream and build a sound and complete information network.Strengthen communication with construction units,design units and tendering units to reduce asymmetry and thus improve production efficiency and service quality.In the case part,this paper combines the project example of Jiang Su Hui Yuan construction engineering consulting company and the four template components proposed above to explore the business model innovation path of engineering consulting industry.Project budget,project settlement audit and bill of quantities and control price is main scope,through the corresponding three specific projects,carding solutions,profit point,and complete process,put forward the market penetration strategy,market development strategy and differentiation strategy,such as performance improvement strategies.By integrating the development process of the engineering consulting industry and studying the prospects and challenges of the current domestic engineering consulting industry,the possibility of the business model innovation of the engineering consulting industry is determined by combining the current situation of the engineering consulting industry,the market environment and the existing value chain activities,with the business model innovation and productive services as the link.
