With the development of urbanization in China,in order to activate the land resources in rural areas,stimulate the productive vitality in rural areas,and improve the tense situation of urban land use,the state promulgated policies to vigorously promote land transfer and land acquisition,land onwnership Change has become China's future long-term development and promote an important task.However,land ownership change brought about by land transfer and land expropriation will lead to the Consolidation and transfer of land,which in turn will change the internal relationship between rural residents and land,and break the original production and lifestyle of rural residents,and then has certain influence to the happiness of rural residents.The report of the 19 th National Congress points out that the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,emphasize the acceleration of Rural Development,and the promotion of the sense of gain,happiness and security of hundreds of millions of rural residents,whose rural residents' happiness is affected by different land ownership change,therefore,it is very important to study the impact of land ownership change on rural residents' happiness,which can improve their happiness and promote rural development.Based on the literature review,firstly this paper establishes an ordered multi-classification logit regression model from land transfer-out,land transfer-in and land expropriation to empirically analyze the impact of land ownership change on rural residents' happiness,secondly,we use the intermediary effect model to analyze the transmission mechanism of land ownership change on rural residents' happiness,and finally explore the Heterogeneity of land ownership change on rural residents' happiness.The study concluded that: First,the average happiness of rural residents in different ways of land ownership change is about 3.62,and the distribution state is "small at both ends,big in the middle",however,there are some differences in the happiness under different ways of land ownership change.Secondly,there are some differences in happiness under the different ways of land ownership change in different regions.The proportion of "very unhappy" and "unhappy" is the highest when their land expropriation in central area and land transfer-in in western area,the proportion of "average" is the lowest when their land transfer-in in eastern region,but the proportion of "very happy" is the highest when the land ownership change in the Eastern Region.Third,land transfer-out and land expropriation have significant negative effects on the happiness of rural residents,while land transfer-in has significant positive effects on the happiness of rural residents;Age,political outlook,total assets,and the determination of power are important factors that affect the rural residents' happiness,but there are regional differences in the influence of each factor on rural residents' happiness.Fourth,absolute income mechanism,relative income mechanism,work type mechanism and consumption expenditure mechanism play an effect on the impact of land ownership change on happiness,but there are some differences among the mechanisms in different ways of land ownership change.
