Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Grape Industry Development In Yulin

Yulin is located in the northern part of the Loess Plateau,and at the junction of Shaanxi,Inner Mongolia,Gansu,Ningxia and Shanxi provinces.The sunshine,soil,water and temperature resources are suitable for grape growth.Through the data collection and the establishment of the questionnaire,this study conducted a field survey on the development status,planting efficiency of the grape industry in Yulin,and conducted SWOT analysis in the development of the grape industry in Yulin.According to the current development problems,relevant countermeasures are proposed to provide relevant suggestions and references for the adjustment and rapid development of the grape industry in Yulin.The survey showed that the area of grape planting in Yulin increased significantly from 2014 to 2018.The cultivation modes were mainly open field cultivation and sunlight greenhouses.Red cultivars,summer black,Victoria,and Cabernet Sauvignon were the main cultivated varieties.The market time of cultivated grapes in open field is mainly concentrated in June-September,and the market time of cultivated grapes in solar greenhouse is distributed in May-October.The educational level of farmers is mainly concentrated in junior high school and below,and 70% of the grape growers have participated in grape cultivation training.The age of farmers is mainly over 41 years old(92.00%).In grape cultivation in Yulin,the main diseases are downy mildew,white rot and gray mold.The shortage of funds is a major problem encountered by farmers in the Yulin region in the process of growing grapes.In terms of grape business risk,natural disaster risk and immature production technology are important factors affecting grape business.All of the farmers are looking forward to the emergence of policy insurance for grape business.The investigation on the benefits of grape cultivation under different cultivation modes shows that the average annual output of open field grape cultivation is 1150 kg / mu,and the average annual output value is 9600 yuan / mu.The average annual output of sunlight greenhouse cultivation is 1200 kg / mu,and the average annual output value is 32600 yuan / mu.SWOT analysis of the grape industry development in Yulin shows that Yulin has the advantages of superior natural conditions,strong government support,and convenient transportation.The opportunities faced are the urgent need for transformation of the industrial structure,the vigorous development of facility cultivation,and the increase in demand for table grapes and wine.However,there are also disadvantages such as frequent natural disasters,serious aging of the labor force,and irrational variety structure.The threat from the external grape industry,leading enterprises with poor power and weak product competitiveness have restricted the development of the grape industry in Yulin.Therefore,the development of the grape industry in Yulin needs to strengthen the government’s support and implement industrial back-feeding agriculture;reasonably match the planted varieties,improve grape cultivation technology,and ensure the annual supply of grapes;pay attention to grape processing and promote the sustainable development of the grape industry;attach importance to the talent pool and strengthen the training of professional farmers;create a grape brand in Yulin,implement an industrialization strategy;promote capital investment,and solve the funding gap for fruit farmers;multi-sectoral linkage to reduce the impact of natural disasters;combined with modern information society,promote the development of digital agriculture and other measures in order to achieve the goal of improving the income of grape growing and promoting the healthy,sustainable and coordinated development of the grape industry.
