Location Research On The Corporate Venture Capital And Entrepreneurship Of Internet

Researches on Internet entrepreneurship are increasingly popular for its prosperous development and economic influence which local government value high.Based on previous studies,this paper explores the Internet entrepreneurship in China from the following two aspects: venture capital of leading Internet companies and location selection within cities.Firstly,this paper analyses the spatial pattern of Internet entrepreneurship and Negative Binominal Regression is taken to reveal the spatial character and entrepreneurship influence of the venture capital from Chinese leading Internet enterprises.Secondly,based on Grid method,micro-location of Internet entrepreneurship in the case of Hangzhou is discussed,including the spatial evolution characteristics of Internet enterprises among different types by Kernel density and Standard Deviational Ellipse and location factors of Internet enterprises within cities by the Heckman two-stage model.Main conclusions are as follows: The development of Internet entrepreneurship is characterized by spatial imbalance and shows strong characteristics of path dependence.In general,Internet entrepreneurship is closely related to the regional economy.Developed coastal areas in east China and main urban area in city are main positions of Internet entrepreneurship.In addition,the spatial evolution of internet enterprises differs in types.In terms of location influence factors of Internet entrepreneurship,“soft factors” show significant influence while the impact of traditional material elements varies among situations.Innovation factors and policy factors will not only affect the venture capital of leading Internet enterprises,but also have an important impact on the location selection of local Internet entrepreneurship.Convenient traffic conditions and superior market conditions have a great effect on obtaining financing support for local Internet enterprises,but Internet enterprises have insufficient demand for transport infrastructure and adjacent CBD.
