Commercial Banks are the most important financial institutions in China's financial market and occupy a pivotal position.Commercial Banks aim to make profits,so there are inevitable risks in the operation of commercial Banks,among which the operational risks behind the counter should not be underestimated.It will not only cause economic losses to customers,but also bring reputation risks to the bank,affecting the sustainable development of the bank,which has become one of the major risks for commercial Banks.With economic development,competition among foreign Banks,the impact of the Internet and changes in the regulatory environment,competition among commercial Banks is becoming increasingly fierce,and cases of counter operation risk emerge one after another.Although J Bank Suzhou Branch has established a relatively mature internal control system,many problems of counter operation risk management are still exposed in the transformation operation.Through the research on the counter operation risk management of J Bank Suzhou Branch,this paper reveals the characteristics of the counter operation risk of commercial Banks,which has important theoretical and practical significance for helping commercial Banks to re-examine the counter operation risk and improve the level of the counter operation risk management.This paper discusses the background and significance of the counter operation risk research,USES the literature analysis method,abstracts the point of view with reference value,USES the comprehensive risk management theory,the internal control theory,the principal-agent theory and the psychological contract theory,lays the theoretical foundation.By summarizing the concept definition,objective,content,method and process of counter operation risk,this paper establishes the basic framework of counter operation risk management in commercial Banks.At the same time,combined with case analysis,this paper expounds the status quo of the counter operation risk management of J Bank Suzhou Branch from four aspects,including personnel,process,system and external factors,analyzes the existing problems and causes,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.This paper draws the following conclusions: J Bank Suzhou Branch should attach great importance to counter operation risks and strengthen prevention and management;establish the basic framework of counter operation risk management to realize the target of counter operation risk management;good personnel,improve staff risk awareness;strengthen the technical level,effectively control the counter operation risk.The study of this paper provides a useful reference for commercial Banks to carry out counter operation risk management effectively.
