Performance appraisal is the basic work and key link of enterprise human resource management.As a high-quality element of human resources,middle-level managers are the backbone of enterprises,and they effectively guarantee the healthy and sustainable development of enterprises.It plays an important role in the healthy operation and sustainable development of the whole enterprise.This paper systematically expounds the relevant theories of performance,performance appraisal and performance appraisal methods,and takes the middle-level managers of W company of China Post Group as the research object.Through the research and Discussion on the literature and data of performance appraisal at home and abroad,the paper analyzes the general situation of W company of China Post group by using the research methods of literature,questionnaire survey and interview This paper summarizes the current situation of performance appraisal of middle-level cadres in W company of China Post Group,and studies the optimization of performance appraisal of middle-level cadres in W company of China Post Group.It is found that there are some problems in the performance management of middle-level managers in W company of China Post Group,such as the lack of in-depth understanding of performance assessment,the lack of scientific assessment methods,the single subject of performance assessment,the lack of application and feedback of assessment results.Secondly,according to the development strategic goal of W company,the comprehensive quality of middle-level managers is comprehensively assessed by using key performance indicator(KPI),balanced scorecard(SC)and 360 degree performance appraisal method,and a set of specific and operable performance appraisal method is optimized.Finally,according to the practical constraints,the paper puts forward the organization,system,personnel,materials and other aspects of the performance appraisal of middle-level managers in W company of China Post Group.Through this research,we can provide some reference experience for the strategic management of large state-owned enterprises and the performance evaluation of human resources.
