This paper investigates and analyzes Taobao's business models and it significant impacts on the Ghana's E-commerce industry and the business environment at large to highlight personalization techniques they implemented using framework for E-Commerce personalization presenting results of the analysis of the site's activities with the theory of E-commerce Personalization techniques.Also SWOT model analysis that talks about internal and external factors of business is used to analyze Taobao's operations.It also lays emphasis on the status of the Ghana's E-commerce industry,Government's effort of advancing the nation's technology with proper tools and sophisticated machineries which serve as a means to aid online trading.The barriers,challenges militating against the surviving e-commerce sites.A thorough study and analyzes of the whole system of taobao's activities was done to ascertain what impacts it could have on the buying and selling of goods and services online in Ghana.The study encapsulated requirements regarding customer's behavior towards the Personalization activities of the site.In this study personalized experiences are uniquely provided to each customer using the traces of user's purchase history,browsing history,user preferences,on-site behaviour,and personal data.Results show that Taobao's site employ various personalization techniques to boost loyalty among the audiences,improve conversion rates,and increase sales.The SWOT analysis also indicates that Taobao's standing currently and in the future is safe and secured.This framework is expected to aid future researchers and practitioners in understanding existing e-commerce personalization efforts and in developing novel personalization approaches.
