Research On The Optimization Of KT Company's Inventory Management

At present,the global manufacturing pattern is facing major adjustment,and the domestic economic environment has also undergone major changes,which has brought severe challenges to the development of China's manufacturing industry.It is urgent to rely on management innovation and technological innovation to promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.At the same time,due to the lack of scientific and professional planning and control,there are still many problems in the inventory management of manufacturing enterprises in China,such as the imperfect management system,the excessive proportion of inventory funds,the low level of intelligent management,which will seriously affect the production and operation of enterprises,and is not conducive to the improvement of enterprise efficiency,resulting in the need of inventory management optimization.Based on this,this paper takes KT Company as an example to study the optimization of its inventory management.Firstly,this paper combed the related literature at home and abroad,and commented on the existing literature;secondly,it combed the traditional and modern inventory management theories,which laid the theoretical foundation for this study;secondly,based on the KT Company's financial report and the sorting of the relevant inventory data,it analyzed the current inventory management of the company from the aspects of purchase,production and processing,inventory storage,inventory check,etc Secondly,it analyzes the problems and causes of the corresponding links in the company's inventory management.Finally,based on this,it puts forward relevant improvement and optimization suggestions for each link.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:First,the problems existing in the inventory management of KT Company.KT Company's inventory management system is mainly divided into four parts: inventory acquisition and acceptance warehousing management system,production and processing management system,inventory warehousing system and inventory check and disposal system.At the same time,KT Company in inventory management,there are mainly problems such as high proportion of inventory in assets,low inventory turnover rate,increasing proportion of inventory falling price reserves,unreasonable inventory allocation,high proportion of inventory commodities.Second,the causes of the problems in the stock management of KT Company.First of all,there are three major problems in the procurement process: the lack of scientific procurement plan,the lack of strategic cooperation with suppliers and the lack of information communication between departments.Second,there are two major problems in the production process: the inherent disadvantages of traditional production mode and the unreasonable production plan.Then,there are two main problems in the storage management process: the lack of scientific procurement plan,the lack of strategic cooperation with suppliers and the lack of information communication between departments Finally,in the process of inventory checking and disposal,there are some problems such as the form of inventory checking and the untimely disposal of dull materials.Third,the suggestions on the optimization of KT Company's inventory management.First of all,in the procurement process,the first is to optimize the procurement classification management method;the second is to improve the scientificity of the procurement plan;the third is to strengthen the management and cooperation with suppliers;the second is in the production process,on the one hand,to change the production mode of batch products,on the other hand,to strengthen the design and process control of new products;and then,in the optimization measures of the storage management process,to promote the storage management Finally,in the optimization measures of inventory and disposal,on the one hand,inventory plan and problem analysis should be done well,on the other hand,disposal and utilization of dull materials should be strengthened.
