Research On The Profit Quality Of China Merchants Bank

Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of economy,more and more commercial banks have emerged,enriching the main market of the financial industry.However,in recent years,with the decline of macro-economy,the advancement of interest rate marketization and the rapid development of Internet finance,the main profit source of banks' deposit and loan interest margin has been seriously impacted,and the banking industry is facing severe survival pressure.In such a difficult environment,China Merchants Bank has been growing against the trend,which has attracted the general attention of investors.However,due to the impact of incomplete information symmetry in the capital market,external information users are often unable to accurately grasp the real profit situation of enterprises.Based on this background,the research ideas and methods of this paper are established by combing and summarizing the literature of profit quality at home and abroad.Secondly,the development strategy and operation situation of China Merchants Bank are analyzed in depth,and the indicators are selected from four dimensions of operation liquidity,profit return,safety and stability,growth and development in combination with the characteristics of commercial banks The bank's profit quality is analyzed;then,through the comparison of the same industry,it is found that China Merchants Bank has the problems of single income source and high operating cost;thirdly,it analyzes the factors affecting the profit quality of China Merchants Bank from the macro factors such as policy orientation,industry competition,technical environment and micro factors such as the company's business structure,asset quality and risk control;finally,From two aspects of external countermeasures and internal governance and management,this paper puts forward suggestions to improve the profit quality of China Merchants Bank.This paper hopes that through the study of the profit quality of China Merchants Bank,we can find out the problems existing in the current development of enterprises,and provide reasonable suggestions for this,so as to improve the overall profit quality of China Merchants Bank,and also provide some reference for the development of other commercial banks.
