With the continuous development of gravity model’s application research and the continuous optimization of GIS system’s function,more and more scholars are studying the spatial correlation of urban areas based on gravity model.Although scholars have analyzed the relevance of rail transit and urban areas,the urban tourism industry as well as the real estate industry and other aspects,there are relatively fewer researches on the analysis of the subway transportation and urban tourism spatial correlation based on the gravity model.Besides,those analyses have been conducted on the built subways,instead of the under-construction subways,which means the theoretical value is relatively higher than the practical value.Therefore,this article is based on the GIS technology to analyze the spatial correlation between Xiamen Metro and urban tourism,which is not only of great significance to enrich tourist gravity model theory in our country,but also contribute to the promotion of Xiamen tourism industry,underground economy and the optimization of subway line site planning.Xiamen as a tourist city,with the rising number of tourists in recent years,some of the problems faced by developing its tourism industry began to emerge.The important factors to hinder the development of local tourism industry involve the developing unbalance of city tourism resources,poor tourism transportation accessibility and low tourist capacity.In order to effectively alleviate transportation pressure,improve urban transportation accessibility and tourist capacity,Xiamen officially launched the subway construction project at the end of 2013.This article comprehensively uses literature review method,data analysis method,quantitative and qualitative combination analysis method,based on GIS vector data,through the establishment of Wilson model,the gravitational analysis and spatial autocorrelation analysis are carried out around the influence of subway construction project on tourism transportation network.The conclusions of the study are as follows:1.Xiamen Metro helps promote urban tourism transportation.Among the recently planned subway lines,the tourist transportation gravity of the subways of the first and third lines is higher than that of the second and fourth lines.The tourist transportation gravity of Xiamen Island and Jimei District is significantly higher than that of other administrative areas,which means the former contributes more to tourist transportation;2.Xiamen Metro mainly serves residents’ needs rather than develops tourism transportation.The tourist transportation gravity of subway stations has a positive correlation only in a few geographical locations,indicating that the affection of Xiamen Metro is not comprehensive in the promotion of tourist transportation,but as an auxiliary of ground transportation,and there are differences in different administrative district.3.Xiamen Metro mainly promotes urban tourism rather than scenic tourism.It directly connects to the major business districts of the city,and the spatial correlation between the subway and the scenic spots is relatively insignificant.Its role is mainly reflected in the convenience of urban tourism shopping,sightseeing,recreation and other travel activities.4.In the case that the connection between the subways and the scenic spots is not tight,the "last mile" between the subway stations and the scenic spots is the key factor for the subway to effectively promote the transportation of the scenic spots.By creating the subway as a city tourist business card,the designing of scenic spots,route planning,regional publicity and other means,try to break the administrative barriers and guide the flow of tourists,the combination of different ways to create a global tourism pattern may be an effective way to solve the problem of Xiamen tourism development.The research of this article is devoted to providing solutions for Xiamen tourism product designing,tourism route planning,subway station setting,etc.,and providing countermeasures for promoting tourism transportation and alleviating the problem of uneven hot and cold scenic spots.The shortcoming is that the application of tourism space theory,gravity model theory or social network analysis theory is based on a two-dimensional analysis of a certain time point.Although it is helpful for the current deployment,it is impossible to judge the trend of the tourism transportation gravitation on the time axis.It is only possible to substitute the situation at different time points into the model operation to draw a trend chart.Therefore,the research results provided in this paper are not once and for all.They are only suggestions and countermeasures for the current time;in the future,they should be recalculated according to the changes in the government’s subway plan.To conclude,this paper only provides an effective way of thinking and a research method.
