Research On The Financial Risk Evaluation And Control Of Tencent's Acquisition Of Supercell

Against the background of the “One Belt,One Road” concept,domestic Internet companies have long taken cross-border mergers and acquisitions as an important way to upgrade technology and obtain high-quality resources.China lacks experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions.A variety of risk factors permeate mergers and acquisitions,so most of them end in failure.This article selects the typical M & A cases in the domestic Internet industry,evaluates their financial risks,and analyzes the corresponding specific control measures in terms of financial risks on the basis of this to provide reference experience for other Internet companies' cross-border mergers and acquisitions.First,this paper uses the literature review method to conduct a detailed review of the evaluation and control of financial risks in domestic and foreign mergers and acquisitions.Secondly,according to the concepts and related theories of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and financial risks,the types and evaluation methods of cross-border financial risks are summarized.After that,the entire length of the paper,in accordance with the logic of "financial risk identification-evaluation-control",conducted an in-depth study of the financial risks faced by Tencent in its acquisition of Supercell.In the case analysis of Tencent's acquisition of Supercell,it mainly studies from three aspects.First,this article describes and analyzes the reasons for Tencent's acquisition of Supercell,as well as the acquisition process and results.Secondly,by analyzing the process of Tencent's acquisition of Supercell,it sorted out the four types of financial risks faced by Tencent's acquisition of Supercell.Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,first analyze the various risk factors by using the analytic hierarchy process to obtain the weight of the impact of each risk factor on the cross-border mergers and acquisitions of the enterprise;and then use the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to conduct financial risk analysis at each stage Quantitative evaluation,to obtain the level of each risk;Finally,based on a series of evaluations of financial risks of mergers and acquisitions,specific control measures were proposed.Through a series of analysis and research on tencent's acquisition of Supercell,it is concluded that the financial risks in this acquisition include pricing risk,financing risk,paymentrisk and integration risk.Based on the identification and evaluation of risks,it is concluded that the overall financial risk level of tencent merger and acquisition of Supercell is low,among which the integration risks need to be paid special attention to,and other risks should also be targeted to prevent.
