At present, the most important development problems facing rural China are to completely eliminate poverty, improve people's livelihood, and gradually achieve common prosperity. This is also the basis for implementing the rural revitalization strategy and building a well-off society in an all-round way.Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the state has attached great importance to poverty al eviation and raised it to the height of the "four comprehensive" national strategic layout. With the sustained and rapid growth of the domestic economy, the country's investment in poverty al eviation continues to increase.China's poverty al eviation work has achieved significant positive results. The absolute poverty in rural areas has been greatly reduced,However, the relative poverty problem is still more prominent, and poverty in some areas is still stubborn,Is still the main factor hindering rural development and rural revitalization. At the same time, the flow of a large number of rural laborers to cities and towns has become a common phenomenon in China's current social development, and has had a very important impact on China's current socio-economic structure. The role of labor mobility in reducing poverty has gradually attracted widespread attention in the academic and social sectors. This article summarizes and draws on domestic and foreign literature on labor mobility and poverty.Based on relevant basic theories, starting from the perspective of overall rural economic development, and taking rural households as the main research object, this article will launch an in-depth study of the impact of labor mobility on rural poverty in China the study.Firstly, this article gives a detailed description and analysis of the current situation of rural labor mobility and rural poverty in China. From the perspective of labor mobility, the scale of labor mobility in rural China has been huge in recent years and has increased year by year, but the growth rate has generally declined year by year.At the same time, the scale of labor mobility differs among regions;the number of labor export and input in the eastern region is higher than that in the central and western regions. In addition, the proportion of rural migrant laborers in the province is higher than that of migrant workers outside the province for a long time and shows an upward trend,The education level is general y low,the proportion of tertiary industry employment has increased year by year, and the proportion of new generation migrant workers has increased year by year. From the perspective of rural poverty, the size of the poor population has decreased significantly. At the same time, there are large differences in rural poverty between regions. The western region has the largest number of poor people, followed by the central region, and the eastern region the least. In recent years, income growth in poor rural areas has been relatively fast, which is higher than the overall rural average.Secondly, regarding the impact mechanism of labor mobility on rural poverty, this paper analyzes its mechanism of poverty in-depth from four aspects: labor income wage effect, human capital promotion effect, concept change effect and agricultural scale effect. Finally, based on the 2018 China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)data,a Probit model and an OLS model were built to analyze the impact of rural labor mobility in China on the static poverty and income of rural households, and the sample was further divided into poor and non-poor households to study labor mobility differences in income-increasing effects between poor households and non-poor households.Based on the 2016 and 2018 China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)data,a Probit model was constructed to empirically analyze the impact of changes in rural households' choices on labor mobility on the dynamic changes in household poverty status, namely, poverty alleviation and return to poverty. The results show that rural household labor mobility significantly reduces the probability of farmers fal ing into absolute poverty and relative poverty, promotes farmers' income increase, and has a more significant income increase effect on poor households. The choice of rural households for labor mobility also significantly increases the probability of poor households getting out of poverty, and suppresses the risk of non-poor households returning to poverty. At the same time, the role of the influencing mechanism is tested by selecting representative indicators. The results show that the level of rural labor human capital, conceptual factors, and the degree of agricultural mechanization all have significant poverty al eviation effects on farmers 'static and dynamic poverty. Finally, based on the full text of research results, put forward relevant policy recommendations. The first is to promote rural labor mobility through strengthening employment assistance;the second is to breaking through the barriers of rural family labor outflow by improving the quality;the third is to guide agricultural scale operations while promoting labor mobility;and the last is to adhere to a precise poverty al eviation strategy based on human conditions.Guarantee multi-channel rural poverty al eviation.
