Research On The Evolution Of Innovation Network Structure Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration

With the deepening of economic globalization and the rapid development of science and technology,the driving force of global economic development has gradually changed from "factor-driven" to "innovation-driven".At the same time,innovation has become a driving force "source" for a region or country to achieve sustainable economic growth.However,China’s economic development has entered a new normal stage,and innovation has become increasingly important for China’s economic development.In the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,President Xi Jinping clearly pointed out:"Innovation is the first driving force leading development,the strategic support for building a modern economic system,and the prerequisite for speeding up the construction of innovative cities."And in the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan Outline" also clearly put forward:"China should implement innovation-driven strategy".Therefore,under such background and policy guidance,on the one hand,as a platform for high-quality development of national economy,the healthy growth and evolution of innovation network of urban agglomerations is an important basis for exploring how to improve the innovation ability of urban agglomerations.On the other hand,the healthy developmentand evolution of the innovation network of chengyuurban agglomerationwhich focuses on nurturing and located in the "one belt and one road"and "Y" junctions of the Yangtze River economic belt during the "13th Five-Year Plan Period",is of great importance not only for opening up a new pattern in the West but also for building the "one belt and one road".Quickly building innovative cities and smoothly implementing the innovation-driven strategy play an important role in promoting the development of innovative cities.Firstly,this paper chooses the joint application for patents among the cities in chengyu urban agglomeration to construct the innovation network.Secondly,this paper studies the evolution of the structural characteristics of innovation network in chengyu urban agglomeration from four aspects:the overall characteristics,individual characteristics,complexity characteristics and internal node relationship of innovation network.Then,geographic proximity,social proximity,cognitive proximity and economic proximity are selected as explanatory variables,and R&D expenditure intensity and economic proximity are selected as explanatory variables.Educational expenditure intensity as a control variable is used to analyze the impact of explanatory variables and control variables on innovation cooperation between cities in the evolution process of chengyu urban agglomeration innovation network.According to the evolution process of innovation network structure characteristics and the specific situation of the explanatory variables and control variables selected in this paper,this paper summarizes the following research conclusions and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.In terms of the overall characteristics of the innovation network,the density and connection intensity of the innovation network of chengyu urban agglomeration increased continuously during the research period,and the connection between cities became closer.The increasing accessibility of the network means that the barriers to innovation and cooperation between cities are becoming less and less.In terms of individual characteristics of innovation network,Chengdu,Chongqing,Mianyang,Deyang and Zigong have the best status,control ability and autonomy,but with the passage of time,the ability of Chengdu and Chongqing to control resources and other node cities has weakened.The rest of the cities have improved to varying degrees in this regard.In terms of the complexity of innovation network,the innovation network of chengyu urban agglomeration satisfies the characteristics of small world and heterogeneity in the research period selected in this paper,but does not have obvious scale-free characteristics,but the degree distribution of node cities is still unbalanced.nthe aspect of internal node relationship,the research finds that the number of faction factors and members of a faction of chengyu urban agglomeration innovation network have greatly improved,and the innovation network meets the core-edge structure,the number of members of the core area is also increasing,and the innovation links between the core area city and the marginal area city are also increasing.This shows that although the distribution of innovation links among cities in Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is not balanced,the degree of this imbalance is gradually weakening.When we study the influencing factors of the evolution of innovation network in chengyu urban agglomeration,we find that geographic proximity and cognitive proximity have obvious promoting effects on the innovation linkages among cities in chengyu urban agglomeration,but with the passage of time,this promoting effect is weakening,and social proximity has a positive effect on the innovation linkages among cities in chengyu urban agglomerati The promotion of innovation linkages has become more and more important with the passage of time.However,economic proximity has no obvious promoting effect on the innovation links among cities in chengyu urban agglomeration.R&D expenditure intensity and education expenditure intensity,as control variables,have obvious and stable promoting effects on the innovation links between cities in chengyu urban agglomeration.The innovation of this paper is the study of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration.At present,no scholar has explored the development and relationship of cities within chengyu urban agglomeration from the perspective of innovative network.On the other hand,when studying the influencing factors of innovation network evolution in urban agglomerations,most scholars only choose proximity factors as explanatory variables,and lack the combination of proximity factors and other factors to explore the impact of innovation network evolution.On the one hand,this paper fails to consider the influence of the interaction between neighborhood on the evolution of innovation network in chengyu urban agglomeration.On the other hand,in the multi-dimensional proximity factors,the influence of cultural proximity and social relationship proximity on innovation network in urban agglomeration is also an important concern,but at present,for culture.There is no uniform standard for the quantification of social relations,so this paper fails to analyze the impact of these two neighbourliness on the evolution of innovation network in chengyu urban agglomeration.
