J bank has a lot of experience at international business,a comprehansive range of business scope,large percentage of market share,has earned a brand awareness in Suzhou.However,in recent years,competition in the industry has intensified,J bank has confronted rigorous challenge in international business including increasing business pressure,decreasing market share,products lack innovation and serious brain drain,all of which calls for imperative reforms in performance appraisal system in international business team.Dig outexisting issues in performance evaluation method and make specific improvements,the goal is to increasing revenue,expanding markets,optimizing processes,and retaining talents eventually.This paper uses the literature review method,case analysis method,questionnaire survey method and analytic hierarchy process to analyze the current status and existing problems of the performance evaluation of the international business line of j bank suzhou branch,and improve it.Firstly,it is found that the existing performance appraisal system has problems in the unreasonable appraisal process and appraisal method and the unreasonable design of appraisal indicators and index weights.Secondly,it is proposed to replace the original performance appraisal method with the balanced score card and establish a performance feedback mechanism.According the strategic goal,draw a strategic map,screen out the key performance indicators,and calculate the weight of each index.Finally,clarify the safeguard measures for the implementation of the improved performance appraisal system.Through the implementation of the improved performance appraisal system,the international business line of J Bank Suzhou Branch can better grasp the strategic objectives of the head office,get the point of performance,and enhance the management ability of the line.This paper analyzes the performance improvement of the international business line of J Bank Suzhou Branch,and hopes to provide some reference for improving the performance appraisal of other business lines of J Bank Suzhou Branch.
