Since the reform and opening up,with the advantages of labor, resources and other lowcost advantages,China's economy has achieved rapid growth for a long time. After entering a new stage of development, with the disappearance of these advantages, the role of science and technology on economic growth is becoming more and more obvious, and the technology produced by scientific and technological activities can significantly improve social productivity,so as to provide a strong driving force for the sustainable development of China's economy.R&D activity occupies the core position in all scientific and technological activities, which is the core force to promote technological progress.R&D investment in industry, university and research refers to the R&D input of enterprises, institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions. There are different functional orientations for different subjects in the technological innovation system of our country, colleges and universities and institutions have the advantages of disciplines and talents, they mainly carry out basic research and experimental development research, enterprises have market advantages and clear application prospects, therefore,it mainly focuses on the application research. There are differences in the effect of different main body R&D investment on economic growth. In the past, the research on economic growth of each province by R&D investment regards the economy of each province as independent of each other, but with the strengthening of the economic relations of each province, the R&D investment of a certain province will not only have an impact on the economic growth of the province,it may also have an impact on economic growth in other provinces. This paper expects to study the influence of R&D investment of industry, university and research on economic growth in various provinces from the perspective of spatial measurement, and not only takes into account the direct effect of provincial subjects R&D investment on the economic growth of the province, but also takes into account the indirect effect of provincial subjects R&D investment on the economic growth of the neighboring provinces, and the spillover effect in the process of the economic growth of the province. The premise of applying spatial measurement method is that there is spatial correlation in the economic growth of each province, therefore, the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2016 are selected to test whether there is spatial correlation through the Global Moran's I and local Moran's I,the test results show that the spatial correlation of economic growth in each province is significant. Then, from the perspective of the four kinds of geographical proximity, traffic distance, technical distance and economic distance, the influence of the provincial subjects R&D investment and spillover effect on economic growth are studied. The results show that the economic growth of the province has a significant positive spillover effect, under the technical distance matrix, the results are not significant, under the other three kinds of matrices, the direct effect of R&D investment is significantly positive, and the indirect effect of R&D investment in colleges and universities is significantly positive. The indirect effect of R&D investment of industrial enterprises above scale is only significant positive under the matrix of geographical proximity and traffic distance, and the indirect effect of R&D investment of research and development institutions is only significant under the economic distance matrix.
