Reasonable credit structure plays an important role in improving the performance of listed commercial banks in China. In our country, listed commercial banks still adhere to the traditional mode of operation, taking the interest margin between deposit and loan as the main source of their income, and there are many problems such as single credit structure, high concentration and weak risk management ability. In order to meet the demand of interest rate marketization,China's listed commercial banks should timely adjust their credit structure and control the quality and scale of credit. At present, many scholars have made a lot of research results on the operating performance of listed commercial banks. When they study the current situation of credit structure, they usually study it from the perspectives of credit term, credit regional structure and credit concentration. In the course of the research, the paper analyses the theory related to credit structure and operation performance of listed commercial banks, and applies it to empirical analysis, and then makes a comprehensive and profound analysis of the impact of credit structure on operation performance of listed commercial banks in China. This paper expounds the theories of credit structure, operating performance of listed commercial banks, information asymmetry, commercial loans and loan game, and proceeds from the operation status of listed commercial banks in China, and combines the actual situation of listed commercial banks in China, with the return on net assets(ROE)and the rate of non-performing loans(NPLR).)In order to measure the performance of listed commercial banks,a regression model is established to study the relationship between credit duration, credit concentration and the performance of listed commercial banks, and to verify it.The regression results show that there is a positive correlation between the proportion of short-term loans and the performance of listed commercial banks. The growth rate of medium and long-term loans in term structure is fast, but it does not have a significant impact on the performance of listed commercial banks. In terms of regional structure, the loan share in developed areas is large, but if the loan scale is increased, the performance of listed commercial banks will be counteracted. From the perspective of credit industry, different industries have different impacts on the performance of listed commercial banks. As far as the customer structure is concerned, the higher the proportion of the top ten loan customers is,the more obvious the negative correlation between the top ten loan customers and the operating performance of listed commercial banks is.Finally, combined with the problems encountered in the research process and the problems encountered in the process of improving the operating performance of listed commercial banks, this paper puts forward some suggestions and prospects for adjustment from the aspects of adjusting credit structure, reducing loan concentration, increasing credit loans to small and medium-sized enterprises and underdeveloped areas, and innovating financial products to improve their own operating performance of listed commercial banks.
