Investigation On Ginseng Planting In Changbai County Jilin Province

The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forword the strategy of comprehensively implementing a healthy China,therefore,the inheritance and development of Chinese medicine is crucial.Chinese herbal medicine is the material basis for the inheritance and development of Chinese medicine.Ginseng is the representative of Chinese traditional high-quality medicinal materials.As a characteristic and advantageous industry of Changbai County,the ginseng industry's healthy and steady development is of great significance for achieving the goal of healthy China.The production and sales chain of ginseng industry in Changbai County is relatively complete,but in fact,the internal development and external connection of ginseng industry are contradictory and complex.Currently,the yield of ginseng shows a downward trend.The income of ginseng farmers in different regions is relatively large.The devastating nature of ginseng cultivation has not diminished.How to promote the sustainable development of ginseng industry and the continuous increase of income from ginseng farmers has become an important problem in the development of ginseng industry in Changbai County,Jilin Province.This paper uses the literature analysis method to analyze the current situation of ginseng planting in Changbai County,Jilin Province.From the perspective of ginseng farmers,this paper uses the combination of theoretical analysis and field investigation to study the current status and influencing factors of the cost-income of ginseng planting in Changbai County.Furthermore,the devastating effects of ginseng planting on water resources and land resources were further discussed.Finally,suggestions for promoting the sustainable development of ginseng industry and increasing income of ginseng farmers were proposed.The results show that the cost gap between different places is not significant,but the income gap is very wide,mainly due to factors such as ginseng price,planting area and output,infrastructure,capital,labor,pests and diseases,natural disasters,ginseng planting and processing technology.In addition,ginseng planting has a long history,leading to deterioration of water resources and land resources and environment.Finally,it puts forward suggestions for promoting the sustainable development of ginseng planting in Changbai County,Jilin Province and increasing the income of ginseng farmers: First,to meet the funding needs of ginseng farmers;Second,to introduce the talents;Third,to reduce the production costs of ginseng farmers;Fourth,to establish a standardized production demonstration base;Fifth,to prevent pests and diseases and natural disasters;Sixth,to speed up the construction of new service organizations in Changbai County;Seventh,to improve market construction;Eighth,to protect the resources and environment for ginseng planting.
