In recent years,the support from national's policy and the development of the Internet have greatly promoted the expansion of the media industry.The new media gradually replaced the traditional media and became the main force of the development of the media industry.M & A has positive significance for traditional media industry.However,there are few studies on media mergers and acquisitions,especially in the traditional media.In order to make the traditional media enterprises more effective and provide guidance for the merger and acquisition activities of other enterprises in the media industry in the future,this paper selects the Chinese M & a star merger as a typical case to carry out M & a performance.It is of great significance to study the effect.In the study of M & a performance,this paper adopts the method of event research,accounting index and factor analysis to evaluate the performance of Chinese media before and after merger and acquisition.The study method of event study is the effect of merger and acquisition on the short-term operating performance of the enterprise;the accounting index method and factor analysis method are studied through the study.Before and after mergers and acquisitions,the company's financial statements,respectively,on their solvency,operation ability,profitability and growth ability and other indicators are analyzed.At the same time,the product and structure of Chinese media,the structure of the structure,the effect of talent and other aspects are analyzed as a supplement to examine the impact and effect of the merger and acquisition.The following conclusions can be drawn: this merger and acquisition activity has achieved good synergy effect and has promoted the performance improvement of Chinese media.The cumulative excess income of Chinese media has been significantly improved,and the stock market has made positive positive reactions to it,and the solvency,operating ability,profitability and development ability of the enterprise have been improved in varying degrees.M & A promotes the upgrading and upgrading of traditional publishing products,optimizing the structure of enterprises,and giving full play to the advantages of talent resources.We need to further strengthen the resource integration of Chi Xing Tong,improve the efficiency of resource use,play synergy ability,and enhance the sustainability of the development of Chinese media.Based on Chinese media mergers and acquisitions,suggestions for future M & A activities of traditional media enterprises are provided.
